Margaret and I had a very productive Zoom call with Margarita De La Fuente of the DUKE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM...on the call also Kim Lane, a great friend and supporter of KEENE READING GLASSES, and my niece Brittany Keene DNP, and a graduate of Duke Nursing. We discussed best ways to maximize the 3000 pairs of glasses that Duke has received..the glasses will be offered at 3 Hospitals and ambulatory centers. Flyers and posters will be advertising the availability of the glasses throughout the Hospitals. Nothing shows the value of LinkedIn more than the story of how Duke found us..Nurse Lisa Gilmore, while working with patients learning how to self inject 💉 medication, thought that it would be great if Duke could purchase Reading Glasses for these patients..in her research she found KEENE READING GLASSES On LinkedIn and very quickly we agreed to support this need...and now Keene Glasses are available to Duke’s patients and family members.

Great news! Linda and Dennis Stillwell met with George Papadimitriou, Director of the West Palm Beach Community Health Center yesterday. Linda, who is on the Board of the Poinciana Chapel in Palm Beach, introduced me to George. As a result, the Keene Reading Glasses Program donated 3000 pairs of glasses to the WPB Community Health Center. Keene Reading Glasses 👓 are now available at UCSF Hospitals in San Francisco! The hospital recently received 3000 pairs of Keene Glasses, and they are now stocked on volunteer carts as they make their rounds visiting patients.

My good friend George Papadimitriou's Mom who is from Ecuador gives back to her roots by leading a mission to the Community of DOS MANGAS , Ecuador  each year... Had a great visit to Hackensack Meridian Health today. Met with Jason Kreitner, Richard Knupp, Sonia Gonzalez, and Becky Kaiser. Received a tour of the new Theurer Pavilion with state-of-the-art infrastructure in operating rooms, patient rooms, and internet-enabled in all aspects. HMH has had a great experience providing Keene Reading Glasses 👓 to patients and family members. We are initiating an order for 6000 additional pairs to arrive in two months. Glad to be of service!
